Incandescent

• Pros- bright 360 degree illumination, inexpensive, easy to dispose, Turns on immediately, does not contain Mercury.
• Cons- Lifespan is shorter than LED, Not energy efficient, higher annual operating cost, might be sensitive to cold weather, easily breakable

LED’s

• Pro- Energy efficient, longer life span, does not have mercury, turns on instantly, durable, low annual operating cost, excellent in extreme weather conditions.
• Cons- higher up-front costs, only produces light in one direction, not as bright as incandescent.
